It used to be that when you parked near Gastown, you had to leave your car doors unlocked because otherwise the junkies would break a window to scrounge for change. Now you just can’t park. But boy can you eat! And shop. Gastown store owner Savannah Olsen tells Afar her favorite places. This reminds me that I haven’t eaten at Save-on-Meats since its revival. (And I sure as heck didn’t eat there before.) Putting that on my schedule for my September visit.
